Digging for Dinos in the Sandbox!
We learned that Paleontologists discover and learn about dinosaurs by digging in the ground and making new discoveries!
We made our own fossils by using playdough and toy dinosaurs!
We illustrated our observations as *scientists* in our Science Journals
Dinosaur Names
We used the letters in our names for the plates on the back of a stegosaurus....
We learned the difference between a meat eating dinosaur and a herbivore and ate the same types of food for snack time! We found that the type of teeth that a dinosaur had gave us clues as to what type of food they ate. The most important thing we learned is that "DINOSAURS ARE EXTINCT!" We had to make that one clear for bedtime rituals!! :)
