Hickory Dickory Dock

Shared Reading:

We discovered the parts of a clock and drew our own clock.
We wrote our numbers all the way to 12 and learned about the hour hand.

We finally finished our illustrations in our nursery rhyme book!
Now it's time to sit down and read them!!

This was a fun activity to act out the nursery rhyme. We drew in the numbers of the clock and added an hour hand. When the clock strikes one, we make our mouse run down with the pull string from the back!

Colors:
"Little Mouse, Little Mouse
Which color is your house?"

Sing a Song of Six Pence

Sing a Song of Six Pence
a pocket full of rye
Four and Twenty Black Birds baked in a pie
When the pie was opened
the birds began to sing
Wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?

We decided that singing blackbirds didn't sound so yummy in a pie.
So we decided to create our own pies....

Here a few of the things we came up with:

Lollipops
Flowers
 Jelly Beans
Blue Berries

Yummy Yummy!!

As a class we decided that pie sounded pretty tasty for our snack of the day.

So... lets make one!! Why not?

 Everyone helps!

Tada!!

Yum!!
