What happens to my teeth if I drink soda and don't brush?
That was our science question for the day. We used an egg and some root beer soda to help us make some discoveries today!
After the egg had soaked in the soda, we took it out and recorded our observations in our science journals. It was yucky brown.
We made predictions as to whether it was a REVERSIBLE or IRREVERSIBLE change.
We each practiced brushing the egg with toothpaste and a toothbrush, and found that it was an IRREVERSIBLE change!
We were able to make the egg white again!
We also learned what cavities are ~ and practiced brushing with giant teeth and toothbrushes!
We all learned that we should BRUSH THE TEETH WE WANT TO KEEP!!
