THE EARTH

We live on EARTH!

The Earth is made up of Water and Land!

We live on the land.... 

Which way is NORTH?

Which way is SOUTH?

We learned that the Earth is a PLANET in our SOLAR SYSTEM!

Our solar system includes some of the following: 

Stars, planets, moons, and the sun!

We made last name rocket ships to get us to outer space!

We talked about constellations... 

...and made some of our own!

Edible Solar Systems:

Top and Bottom of the World!

After we learned about the Solar System, we started learning about the Earth!

To start things off, we learned about NORTH and SOUTH and discovered that the Earth has BOTH of those! :)

We discovered that the Earth is made mostly of WATER and LAND!

 We used today's learning adventures to start the beginning of our ANIMAL HABITAT Unit!

SOLAR SYSTEM

We had a FUN day today learning about our SOLAR SYSTEM today!

We learned that there are 8 planets in our Solar System and that the EARTH is a PLANET in our Solar System!

Making our own EDIBLE Solar Systems: 

 We cut out the letters in our last name to make a rocket to take us to the moon!

We even learned the names of all the planets! 

We ate bread stars for snack time.....

 ...learned about CONSTELLATIONS...

...and made some of our own!
