Baa Baa Black Sheep
Have you any wool??
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
One for my master,
one for the dame.
One for the little boy who lives down the lane.
What an adventurous day!
We started out our day by making our own woolly black sheep by painting them with cotton balls!
We played "Find Bo-Peeps Sheep"
and learned how to read a grid
What a fun game! We sat back to back, hid our sheep on our page and then guessed where our partners sheep was hidden while they tried to guess where ours was hiding! (like battleship)
We practiced our counting skills by playing "Sheer the Sheep"
We started with "3 bags full" of wool, rolled the dice to add wool to our sheep, then we rolled the dice to see how much wool to sheer off.
NOW FOR THE EXCITING MOMENTS OF THE DAY!!!!

We were SOOOOOOO lucky to have Mrs. Heather come over with her 3 week old baby lambs!
The kids each took a turn to feed the sheep with the bottles. It was absolutely adorable!!!

Mrs. Heather taught us about what it takes to take care of the baby lambs. In fact, we learned that a baby sheep is called a lamb!
Everyone got to feel the wool and even try to "SPEAK LAMB"! One of the kids said, "Mrs. Heather, I know how to 'speak lamb', I just don't have any idea what I'm saying!" It was the funniest moment of the day!
