Vowels and Patterns

We've been learning about vowels - those sticky letters - and how they can be found in EVERY word!

Here we are playing "Vowel in the middle"

We went on a vowel hunt:

 We counted the vowels in our names and found them all around the room. We searched for them in our books too!

Then we made Vowel Barns:

And had our own VOWEL PUPPET SHOW:

We have also been learning about patterns...

Nurse Heidi

How lucky are we?!

Nurse Heidi came for a visit!!

She taught us all about GERMS and how they are spread.

We learned to use tissues and to wash our hands and not to put things in our  mouths or touch our eyes. 

She gave us all "germs"....

...then we learned the right way to wash our hands:

And then we practiced .....

and we got those "germs" off!!

Oh no! These eggs drank soda pop and didn't brush after!!

We can fix that!! We will just brush for them! 

YAY!! We were able to get those eggs clean again!!
